Jávea's Many Feasts All Year Round

Javeans folks have an amazing religious fiestas going throughout the year all year. Each month must contain at least a phenomenal celebration to show their strong devotion to God. They perhaps even fascinate a fiesta nearly every day during Holiday season of Christmas and summer time.

January is marked by three fiestas: “Feast of Three Kings Feast of Three Kings". Feast of San Antonio - a fiesta in honor of San Antonio on January 11, a mid-month end of the week festivity and ends the month with the San Sebastian Feast day having mass and sweets honouring the patron saint San Sebastian of Javea.

Carnival or parade of costumes is observed in The month of February and then a Spanish day of observance enjoying the end of carnival and other celebrations the Burial of the Sardine or "El entierro de la sardina"

Observed in April would be the Artisan Craft Fair and Artisan Craft Fair.

May is highlighted by The Fiesta of Santa Cruz where Javean’s get to show in the streets crosses made out of flowers.

An international festival "Proclamation of Queens" and Bonfires of Saint John, a week-long celebration with fireworks, bullrunning, parade, music on the street, popular offering of flowers are both celebrated in June.

July is marked by numerous processions and celebrations at the port area.

“Mare de Deu de Loreto," is celebrated through the months of August and September and in October, the Day of the Valencian Community.

Javea’s Christmas holiday month - December.
